ESAC staff works with PEO applicants every step of the way to successfully complete
the accreditation process. Follow the below three steps to get your PEO's application underway:
- Select a detail-oriented Application Coordinator
and provide this person's name and phone number to ESAC. Inform your staff of your intention
to become ESAC-accredited and emphasize the need for their cooperation with the Application Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring that required forms and documents are submitted to ESAC through the online application.
- Complete and submit the online accreditation application forms and worksheets, including submittal of your PEO's last annual financial audit and most recent internal
quarterly financial statements (for confidential evaluation by ESAC's financial advisor
and surety carrier) and an ESAC Controlling Person application form for each Controlling
Person associated with your PEO. When you submit these forms, also send 25% of
your annual accreditation fee using ESAC's fee calculation
table.
- Work with your independent CPA to complete your PEO's
Tax & Benefits Payment Verification through ESAC's brief online application and submittal process. A link to the necessary online forms will be available from your confidential home page established in step 2 above.
Upon the confidential review of your application by ESAC and
its independent advisors, you will be notified of any issues
that need to be addressed. Any necessary adjustments
should either be made or a proposed plan for completion
should be provided prior to Board review of your application.
